Geoffrey Gaylord, MSW, LISW

Geoffrey Gaylord, MSW, LISW
Practicing Since 1993

Geoffrey has over 17 years of experience working with children, families and adults with a variety of problems.  Typical problems I can help with are child behavior problems, school academic and behavior problems, ADHD in children and adults, adult relationship problems, improved coping and management of depression and anxiety, anger problems, work-related stress and anxiety, past traumas, and cognitive work to improve functioning with major mental illnesses. Many times, there are several interrelated issues, and an accurate assessment in the beginning is very important to speed progress of treatment.
My approach to therapy is optimistic, collaborative, and focused on finding practical solutions to work to reduce or eliminate problems.I worked for many years at Lutheran Social Service in Des Moines before joining the team at Wadle and Associates in November,
2004. I now work with a group of psychologists, psychiatrists and therapists to provide a full spectrum of behavioral and mental health services.
